I have over eight years’ college-level teaching experience in US (Michigan State & Florida State) and China. I have taught multi-discipline courses in culturally and linguistically diverse settings. I have been a primary instructor for eight undergraduate courses, a primary instructor for four master-level course and a teaching assistant for nine courses in undergraduate and graduate level. The courses I have taught include curriculum and instruction, linguistic foundation courses, methods and strategies in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), literacy for English language learners, English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, cross-cultural literature as well as foundation courses in education.


1) Teach and develop ESL and Bilingula Education undergraduate and gradeuate courses, and professional developmnet in-service opportunities for PK-12 eudcators; 2) Contribute to the ongoing innovation of impactful undergraduate and graduate programs.
