Biography

Kurt grew up in Saugatuck Michigan.  After high school Kurt went to Michigan Technological Univeristy where he graduated in 2006.  He was a four year letter winner for the varsity football team, as well as, captain of the team his senior year.  He then went on to begin coaching college football and earning his masters degree at Winona State University  in Minnesota.  His coaching stops included Culver Stockton College, University of South Dakota, and most recently Adams State University in Colorado.  In his free time Kurt enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.

Responsibilities

Kurt is in charge of advising Secodnary Education majors with last name T thru Z. Kurt also advises Exercise and Sport Science, Physical Education and Sport Management majors with last name L thru Z. He is also the coordinator of the Pre-Morris Hood Scholars program which helps underrepresented students become teachers.
