Biography

 Brent Biebuyck is currently the Athletic Director at Macomb Community College, where he is responsible for 11 Intercollegiate Teams. His previous roles at Macomb Community College also included Assistant Athletic Director (2007-2010), Sports Information Director (2006-2007), Facility Coordinator (2005-2006) at Macomb Community College Sports & Expo Center, and Assistant Baseball Coach (2006-2009).

Additionally, Brent works as the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference Director (2010-2015), Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference Chair for Women’s basketball (2010-2015), National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XII Track Chair (2010-2015), National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XII Softball Chair (2012-2015), National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XII Softball Tournament Director (2012-2015), and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XII Baseball Tournament Assistant (2010-2015).

Brent was awarded the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Athletic Director of the Year award in 2013 and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Distinguished Service Award in 2015

Brent is a volunteer for Macomb County Special Olympics (2006-2015) and has been a volunteer Instructor at Willie Horton Camp (2007-2008) for the Detroit Tigers organization.

Additionally, Brent is an Adjunct Faculty member at Wayne State University in the School of Education teaching courses on Risk Management in PE & Sports, Sport Finance (2011) & Intercollegiate Administration (2011), and served as a research assistant (2009-2010) for Dr. Yun Seok Choi at Wayne State University.

Brent earned his MA in Sports Administration from Wayne State University (2009) and his undergraduate degree in Communications & Business Management from Michigan State University in 2002, where he interned in the Sports Information Office. Brent resides with wife Emma and Daughter Amelia (6/21/15) in Petoskey, MI.
