Community Engagement Activities

  • Coordinate the WSU Adapted Physical Education and Athletes with Autism Program (www.athleteswithautism.org) providing sport and physical activity programming for school-aged individuals with Autism on the WSU campus.
  • Coordinator of the Michigan Leadership and Education in Adapted Physical Education (MI-LEAPE) Project. The MI-LEAPE Project provides hands-on training in area public schools as it trains adapted physical education specialists and general physical educators to provide quality physical education services to students with disabilities. The MI-LEAPE Project is supported with funding from the US Department of Education.
