Cohort Concentrations

The College of Education is offering the following cohort concentrations in the Division of Administration & Organizational Studies through Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.

 

Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies

  • Location: Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency (Wayne RESA), 33500 Van Born Rd, Wayne, Michigan 48184

This concentration in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies leads to a Doctor of Education Degree (Ed. D.) that consists of 90 total credits and can be completed in 10 semesters. Up to 30 semester hours of a Master's Degree or Education Specialist Certificate can be applied to this program. This cohort program will begin in January of 2018.

Applications are now being accepted. The admissions process will begin in October 2017. A total of 12 students will be accepted to the program.

 

Education Specialist in Special Education Administration

  • Location: Wayne State University, College of Education (main campus)

This concentration in Special Education Administration leads to an Education Specialist (Ed. S.) that consists of 30 total credits and can be completed in 5 semesters. The program will allow for approval as a Special Education Supervisor or Director. Admission to the program is continuous and the program is entirely online.
