During the past sixteen years, I have dedicated my professional life to the field of early childhood education. I have held various role in the field including: Lead Infant Teacher, Lead Preschool Teacher, Assistant Center Director, Center Director, Education Coordinator, Education Manager, Director of Education, Program Coordinator and Lecturer. Currently, I serve as the Interim Program Coordinator and Lecturer for the College of Education, Teacher Education Division, at Wayne State University. Prior to Wayne State, I had the privilege to serve as the Head of the Education and Training Department for a large child care company located in Troy Michigan.

I earned my Doctorate Degree in the Philosophy of Education, Early Childhood from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. My dissertation focused on the effects of professional development on teachers’ self-efficacy and their ability to mitigate children’s challenging behaviors. I am passionate about creating high-quality learning experiences for children and supporting teachers.
