Students interested in doctoral studies in Early Childhood Education enroll in the doctoral program in Curriculum & Instruction (C&I) in the Teacher Education Division of the College of Education. The student then chooses an emphasis of Early Childhood Education in the C&I major. This program is designed for individuals who display potential and promise of scholarship in pursuing advanced studies on curricular innovations and issues in Early Childhood Education. The program immerses the student in curriculum studies within a learning community which provides a forum for developing sustained collaborative relationships among peers, advisors and members of student’s doctoral committee.
