Biography

Alicia is a certified and registered occupational therapist in a sub-acute rehabilitation center. She has been treating for 3 ½ years. Her areas of treatment include cerebrovascular accidents, neurological impairments, orthopedic surgery/accidents, physical disabilities and cognitive disorders.


A Detroit native, she graduated from Lewis Cass Technical High School and went on to pursue her college education at Wayne State University. She received a dual bachelor’s of science in health science and psychology. Upon graduation, she entered into the occupational therapy program and received a master’s of occupational therapy. She is currently pursuing a doctor of philosophy degree in kinesiology, with a specialization in motor control and a minor in neuroscience. Her research interests include new treatment protocols for neurological disorders.
