Ron Wade currently serves as the Director of Marketing for the Detroit Tigers, after ten years working for the organization’s marketing department. Ron’s current duties include directing and coordinating the creation of collateral materials for the Tigers Organization, writing TV and Radio copy, overseeing digital ad implantation and social media campaigns, conducting marketing research in conjunction with Turnkey Sports and Entertainment, and acting as a liaison between the Detroit Tigers and Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM). In addition to his role at the Detroit Tigers, Ron is a Sports Administration adjunct faculty member at Wayne State University.
Prior to his work at the Detroit Tigers, Ron worked as a Group Sales Manager at the St. Paul Saints, a member of the North Division of the American Association of Independent Profession Baseball.
