Minor in Sport Management

The College of Education offers a minor in Sport Management (SAM) for undergraduate students majoring in other disciplines. The SAM Minor consists of six courses, totaling eighteen credit hours. The minor provides an excellent opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge of the sport industry and the managerial practices unique to sports. In addition, the program enhances career prospects and establishes foundational knowledge for pursuing a Master of Arts in Sports Administration. To be eligible to apply for the SAM Minor, students must have a minimum over­all grade point average of 2.5.
