The Physical Education – Physical Activity Leadership (PE-PAL) undergraduate program is a discipline encompassing the two distinct areas of physical education and physical activity leadership. Students who wish to complete the physical education track will be prepared to teach physical education (and a minor of their choosing; preferably health education) in the K-12 school setting. Those students choosing the physical activity leadership track will develop knowledge and skill to implement and manage programming in youth physical activity and sport.
Our program is a Bachelor of Science degree and requires a minimum of 124 credit hours, including General Education. Students must earn grades of "C" or better in all courses in these categories. A 2.5 grade point average in all professional preparation courses is required for graduation. When a student is admitted into our program, advising is handled by Academic Services.
