The Physical Education – Physical Activity Leadership (PE-PAL) undergraduate program is a discipline encompassing the two distinct areas of physical education and physical activity leadership. Students who wish to complete the physical education track will be prepared to teach physical education (and a minor of their choosing; preferably health education) in the K-12 school setting. Those students choosing the physical activity leadership track will develop knowledge and skill to implement and manage programming in youth physical activity and sport.

Program Overview

Our program is a Bachelor of Science degree and requires a minimum of 124 credit hours, including General Education. Students must earn grades of "C" or better in all courses in these categories. A 2.5 grade point average in all professional preparation courses is required for graduation.  When a student is admitted into our program, advising is handled by Academic Services.
