Exercise and Sport Science

This major is designed for students who are interested in pursuing employment in the field of Exercise and Sport Science.

The undergraduate Exercise and Sport Science Track is designed to prepare self-directed students who desire a specialized background to pursue goals in professional or graduate level study in the broad field of exercise and sport science.  Students enrolled in the Exercise and Sport Science Track will develop knowledge and skill in sport and fitness activities, apply knowledge about human movement systems from the various subdisciplines to fitness/wellness, and analyze and evaluate human performance of individuals in various age groups and at fitness levels.

The specialization in the Kinesiology Master of Education degree is designed to prepare students for careers in areas such as exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, sport psychology, and motor control/development/learning, and measurement and evaluation.
