Master of Education With a Major in Kinesiology and a Concentration Exercise and Sport Science
Exercise and Sport Science is discipline encompassing several distinct areas including biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor behavior/control/development, and sport and exercise psychology. Competency in these areas requires that the student use and produce research results and apply these results in practical situations.
A Master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science will enable the student to function in a variety of professional positions including college/junior college teaching, community service, or entry into a doctoral program.
The Exercise and Sport Science program at Wayne State University is designed to prepare students for careers in one of the following specializations:
- Biomechanics
- Exercise Physiology
- Motor Behavior/Control/Development
- Sport and Exercise Psychology
