Global Opportunities

The College of Education has a number of programs of study in international locations and is continually expanding these offerings. Opportunities include:

• Student teaching international field experiences in countries such as Finland, Russia, Sweden, Australia, France, England Turkey and Greece
• Holocaust Education in Poland and Amsterdam; this spring break tour visits Warsaw, Krakow and Amsterdam, focusing on holocaust studies.
• Summer Courses in Madrid, Spain in Special Education, Elementary Education and Bilingual Education
• Student/faculty exchange agreements with Nicaragua, China and other countries
• A study abroad program in Italy for Art Education students
• Canadian Teaching Certification Program to provide students who are residents of the province of Ontario to be eligible for certification in Canada and Michigan
