Dr. Cormier-Kuhn brings to the College of Education over 27 years of experience in education. In those 27 years of experience, she has taught students K-8 all subject areas, 6-8 middle school special education, and 9-12 high school students with special needs in a Technical-Vocational Center. She served as a Special Education Administrator at a Charter School in Southfield and was the first teacher in Macomb County to achieve National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Certification in the area of Exceptional Needs Specialist.
