Master's Student Orientation
To begin your academic journey and to help you acclimate to graduate level coursework, you are strongly encouraged to attend the Master's Student Orientation that will be held on Thursday August 24, in the Education building. The Master's Student Orientation is your chance to network with faculty and fellow classmates. It will also assist you in becoming familiar with university systems, policies and procedures as well as campus resources designed to help you have a successful academic experience.
Representatives from Administrative and Organization Studies; Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies; Teacher Education; and Theoretical and Behavioral Foundations will be available. Students will have an opportunity to meet with faculty, develop a Plan of Work and review graduate policies, procedures and scholarship information.
Orientation Date for students starting Spring/Summer or Fall 2017 Semesters
- Thursday, August 24, 2017
- Sign-In: First floor lobby in front of the elevators
- Registration opens at 4:30 pm
- Program starts at 5:00 pm

Get Your WSU One Card
Prior to the orientation, students are encourged to visit the One Card Office to obtain a WSU One Card. The One Card Office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Location: WSU Welcome Center, 2nd Floor, Suite 257.
Guest parking is available in Parking Structure # 2 (entrance on Anthony Wayne Drive) or Parking Structure # 5 (entrance on Anthony Wayne Drive at Kriby). The cost of parking is $7.50. You may pay with credit/bank debit card (Visa, Master Card or Discover) without a One Card. It is important to note that cash is not accepted. Additional information for Parking and/or fees.
