Community Observation
The purpose of this assignment is to document and describe the community surrounding the school where you will be placed for your field experience. You will use an observational research tool, “windshield survey”, to help you better understand the value of considering the community as a strong factor that affects student learning, motivation and curriculum choices. This assignment will contribute to your own professional growth as you prepare to be a responsive teacher.
